TrustLife was founded with a simple belief: quality laboratory testing should be accessible to the communities that need it.
For years, Corozal Town had several clinical laboratories that provided routine diagnostic testing. However, when patients required specialized laboratory assays, their samples had to be sent to Belize City, resulting in wait times of more than 24 hours for results.
The COVID-19 pandemic in 2021 underscored the importance of timely, accessible diagnostic testing. It became clear that Northern Belize needed advanced laboratory services closer to home.
